Placing Broker - European Binder Business

Arcus Search are proud to support an exciting London Market Insurance firm on searching for an experienced and dynamic Placing Broker with proven experience in the European Binder Market and an established portfolio and strong relationships across the continent.

You will be bringing with you an established portfolio of European Binding business and have the support of a global brand to expand your already successful business.

What you'll do:

• Placing and managing delegated authority (binder) business across various European markets
• Maintaining and nurturing relationships with insurers, coverholders, and clients
• Identifying & execute new business opportunities and growing your existing portfolio
• Negotiating competitive terms with underwriters and providing tailored placement solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant local and international regulatory standards and internal procedures
• Working closely with internal teams including compliance, accounts, and claims

What experience you'll bring:

• Several years' experience as a placing broker in the insurance sector
• A proven track record in European binder business
• An existing portfolio of clients and access to a strong network of coverholders/MGAs
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market procedures
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
