As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving network automation initiatives, delivering tier 3 support, and overseeing critical projects such as hybrid cloud implementations, data centre deployments, and perimeter network configurations. We’re seeking engineers who are quick to adapt to emerging technologies and can effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design and integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, ensuring they align with both business objectives and technical requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges, gather requirements, and deliver innovative solutions to complex IAM issues
- Build and maintain secure, scalable systems using a diverse range of technologies and tools
- Champion the use of automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD methodologies within the IAM space
- Continuously refine and enhance IAM processes, tools, and practices to improve efficiency and security
- Promote Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices within the team, ensuring security is embedded into development workflows without hindering productivity
Skills:
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying highly scalable data centre networks, particularly with platforms like Cisco and Arista
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including switches and routers, with a focus on low-latency environments
- Strong knowledge of WAN design principles, including technologies like ios-XR, SD-WAN, segment routing, and multitenancy
- In-depth understanding of network routing and switching protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and VXLAN
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting, including Git, Python, Ansible, and Jinja2
