Broker – Lloyd’s Market (Italian Speaking)

Arcus Search are proud to partner with an exciting Lloyd’s Market broking firm with a strong reputation for excellence, integrity, and international reach. With clients and stakeholders across Europe (particularly in Italy), their continued success and increasing activity in the Italian market has meant they are now seeking an experienced Broker to join our dynamic team.

As a Broker, you will be responsible for placing complex insurance and reinsurance risks into the Lloyd’s market. You’ll work closely with clients, underwriters, and international partners in Italy—so a confident, at least conversational level of Italian is essential.

What you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
• Placing and negotiating insurance and reinsurance risks within Lloyd’s and company markets.
• Liaising with Italian clients and stakeholders, both remotely and in-person.
• Preparing and presenting broking documentation, slips, endorsements, and market presentations.
• Staying up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, and client needs.

What experience you will bring:

• Proven experience in broking within the Lloyd’s and/or London insurance market.
• Strong technical understanding of insurance or reinsurance products.
• Italian (written and spoken) is essential – someone eager to deepen their Italian skills would be considered strongly.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, client-focused team.
