Binding Authority Technician

Arcus Search are proud to support an exciting London Market Insurance firm on searching for a Binding Authority Technician to join a growing and dynamic team. You will gain great exposure to senior stakeholders and autonomously deal with Third Party Coverholders, upskilling in the Delegated space and on your technical and communication skills.

You will be joining them on a permanent basis, to be responsible for the production and submission of risk Bordereaux and reporting on Premium and Claims data. With your experience in DCOM, Atlas, Xchanging and/or PPL, you will assist in drafting and endorsing contracts, record risk details and track renewals.

What you\’ll do:

• Deal with Third Party Coverholders and both internal and external stakeholders daily
• Perform production and submission of risk bordereaux
• Track Facility Renewals and support the DUA team to negotiate these
• Report regularly on Premium and Claims data and statistics.
• Utilise DCOM and Atlas
• Be trained up on PPL and other systems

What experience you\’ll bring:

• Previous London Market Insurance experience
• Xchanging experience – highly desireable
• A strong understanding of DCOM, Atlas and PPL
• Confident communicator and a strong ability to build relationships
• Experience using Excel/Word and other database systems – prioritise documentation and data.
