Arcus FM are recruiting for a Trainee Management Accountant to join us on a permanent basis at our Upminster site. You will have the flexibility to work from home for 2 days per week, with the remaining 3 days required in the Upminster office.
What You'll Be Doing
- You’ll be responsible for preparing management accounts, ensuring financial compliance and reporting, which includes assisting with statutory audits and tax matters (e.g., VAT).
- A core part of your role will involve balance sheet reconciliation and analysis, along with supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- You will actively investigate variances and provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
It’ll be challenging to work within a fast-paced, time-pressured environment, but with your strong attention to detail, time management skills, tenacious and hard-working ethic, you’ll rise to this challenge. It’ll be rewarding to work within a team who are open to listening to new and innovative ways of working.
What We're Looking For
- You’ll be results-driven, articulate, and confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- It’s desirable that you are Part Qualified in (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in finance and management accounts within a fast-paced environment.

- It’s essential for this role that you have exceptional Excel and IT skills.
