What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Senior Technical Supervisor, you will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to the required Service Level. You will also provide first-line response to maintenance tasks and emergencies during and outside normal working hours when on call.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team, providing management support, guidance, training, and development to achieve high customer service levels
- Provide technical support and training to engineering staff
- Manage the delivery of the PPM schedule and attendance to ensure optimal engineer coverage
- Notify the planning team of procedural task conditions and ensure jobs are correctly closed upon completion
- Coordinate reactive activities and scheduling for efficiency and productivity
- Manage task volumes with the planning team, ensuring reporting systems are updated accurately and timely
- Control labour utilization, manage on-call rota, and oversee weekly shift patterns/overtime
- Manage and ensure safety and safety reporting, conduct performance reviews, and manage colleague performance
- Handle all Health & Safety issues in your area, ensuring proper reporting and escalation
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Experience in M&E services maintenance
- Experience managing a team
- Trade experience (desirable)
- Full clean driving license
