Are you a commercially driven pricing specialist with strong FM knowledge and advanced analytical skills? Arcus FM is seeking a FM Pricing & Estimating Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy, driving competitive tenders, and supporting business growth.
You will develop and manage pricing models that directly support Arcus FM's new business opportunities, contract renewals, and growth ambitions. Working closely with Operations, Procurement, and Business Development, you will deliver competitive, accurate, and insight-led pricing that balances risk, value, and profitability. This role is key to ensuring seamless mobilisation from bid stage through to operational delivery, while continuously improving our approach to pricing and insights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage central pricing models aligned to business strategy.
- Lead the bid pricing process for tenders ranging from £500k to £40m+.
- Complete labour loading and interpret asset data to produce accurate FM pricing.
- Analyse tender documentation to identify risks, margins, and commercial implications.
- Build and communicate pricing models and commercial risks to stakeholders, including C-Suite.
- Partner with Procurement to obtain supply chain quotations and ensure best value.
- Collaborate with Operations and Mobilisation teams to ensure smooth handover of pricing to delivery.
- Analyse post-go-live contract performance to identify insights and improve future tenders.
- Create and develop database solutions to strengthen standard pricing metrics.
- Undertake strategic projects to support wider business improvement.
- Proven experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or FM pricing.
- Strong knowledge of Facilities Management (hard services essential).
- In-depth understanding of FM bid and tender processes.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced MS Excel; experience with PowerBI / DAX / SQL highly desirable.
- Comfortable working with complex and incomplete data sets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- Results-focused, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
