As an Arcus Building Fabric Specialist, you'll work across multiple client sites in your area, ensuring facilities are safe, fully functional, and well-maintained. This is a mobile role that offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to showcase your expertise in a range of building fabric tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
- Respond to reactive issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain clear documentation using handheld IT systems
- Support customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
Qualifications and experience
- Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades (ideally in a fabric maintenance role)
- NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade
- A valid UK driver's licence
- Confidence working independently and in customer-facing environments
- Comfortable using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation
- Solid knowledge of health & safety standards
- Desirable: Experience in retail or multi-site maintenance environments
Core trade skills we’re looking for include:
- Patch plastering and rendering
- Carpentry and joinery
- Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl etc)
- Basic plumbing
- Changing locks and fittings
- General fabric repairs
