Are you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who’s looking for the next step in your career? Can you travel around various sites South of the Midlands across a broad regional geographical area? Salary: £55,046 per annum

What You'll Be Doing
As the Managing Gas Engineer you will be responsible for supervising a team of gas engineers to ensure that planned and reactive gas maintenance tasks are completed to the required Service Level one of our key client contracts. You will be the team’s daily point of contact, providing management support, guidance, training and development to colleagues to achieve a consistent and high level of customer service. The successful candidate will possess the relevant technical skills and knowledge required to manage a gas team across multiple contract streams, as control labour utilisation on a day-to-day basis is an essential part of this position, as is management of an “on-call” rota.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A recognised commercial & domestic gas qualification
- Gas Safe certification
- HVAC knowledge
- City & Guilds qualified in relevant field
- Mechanical apprenticeship or OND/HND
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience, working on a mobile basis in chosen field, preferably in the retail sector
Desirable:
- Ideally 18th Edition
Additional Information:
The role will involve working 45 hours per week. You’ll be on call 1 in 4 weeks, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
