About the Company
Do you live in or around the M25 or wider region/Central London area? Are you an experienced Refrigeration M&E Engineer? If so, we may have a role which is suited to you as we are recruiting a PPM Refrigeration M&E Engineer to join our facilities management team.
About the Role
You will be out and about on the road travelling to your assigned sites, carrying out planned Refrigeration M&E works. The role includes PPM works to agreed SOPs on Retail Refrigeration Equipment like Packs and Cold storage, with some associated PPM tasks that are M&E biased, for which training will be provided. During seasonal PPM freeze times, you will be required to assist the Refrigeration or M&E reactive teams.
Responsibilities
- The role includes PPM works to agreed SOPs on M&E Equipment such as Air Conditioning, Heating, Heat Pumps, Electrical services and emergency lighting.
- There will be some associated PPM tasks that are Refrigeration biased subject to your skill set, for which training will be provided.
- You will enjoy working autonomously, being responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving License
- C&G **** (FGAS Cat 1)
- NVQ level 2 Refrigeration
- CO2 trained (desirable)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical
- 18th Edition
- Unvented Hot Water
- Good HVAC and plumbing knowledge
- Significant experience ideally gained within a retail environment
- The ability to work unsupervised in a pressurised environment dealing with store teams and members of the public
- An understanding of commercial refrigeration system technologies

- Refrigeration Multi-skilled M&E experience
- Ability to confidently carry out a range of other electrical and mechanical tasks

Pay range and compensation package
