Are you highly organised, great with people, and confident juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment? We are looking for a Practice Support Coordinator to join our Portman Dentex team and help ensure our dental practices receive first‑class support.

This is a key role at the heart of our operations. You will be the go‑to person for coordinating maintenance, repairs, and compliance visits—making sure everything is scheduled smoothly and communicated clearly to both clients and contractors.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating and booking appointments for engineers and contractors across multiple dental practices
  • Clearly explaining the purpose and scope of works when arranging visits
  • Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Working closely with dental practice staff to understand their needs and minimise disruption
  • Keeping accurate records, schedules, and documentation
  • Managing a varied workload, balancing priorities and deadlines
  • Staying calm under pressure and resolving urgent issues when they arise
  • Keeping everyone informed of changes, delays, or updates

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have a calm, solutions‑focused approach, especially during busy periods and high attention to detail and accuracy, as well as:

  • Experience in facilities management, property services, or a similar coordination role (desirable)
  • Fantastic organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, engineers, and colleagues
  • The ability to explain technical or operational tasks in a clear, client‑friendly way
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
