At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury’s Torquay store on a permanent basis.
The role is 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6 day working options, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:
- Sunday: Day off
- Monday: 19:00 - 22:00
- Tuesday: 19:00 - 22:00
- Wednesday: 19:00 - 22:00
- Thursday: 19:00 - 22:00
- Friday: 19:00 - 22:00
- Saturday: 19:00 - 22:00
You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating machinery
- Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies inside the store
- Cleaning trolley bays outside, keeping them free of leaves and debris
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
We will support you with full training.
What will you need?
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
- An eye for detail and cleanliness
- A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
- To access our Arcus Connect App, you need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability for recording time and attendance
