Arcus is recruiting a full-time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury\’s Rustington store on a permanent basis. 36 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.
Sainsbury\’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern is:
- Sunday: 05:00 to 11:30
- Monday: 05:00 to 11:30
- Tuesday: 05:00 to 11:30
- Wednesday: 05:00 to 11:30
- Thursday: 05:00 to 11:30
- Friday: Day off
- Saturday: 05:00 to 11:30
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
Responsibilities
Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury\’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Responsibilities include completing daily cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard, and may include:
- Operating machinery
- Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when required
- Maintaining trolley bays and outdoor areas free of leaves and debris
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied
What will you need?
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. You should have:
- An eye for detail and cleanliness
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
- Be able to access our Arcus Connect App via a smartphone with NFC capability (this is a condition of employment)
