We have an opportunity for an experienced Team Supervisor to join us on a permanent basis in Upminster.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be leading a small team of coordinators. You’ll be coaching and mentoring new starters and guiding and supporting the current team when required, on any new processes/systems due to new contract wins or changes to the current contracts. You’ll have the ability to create new process documents from scratch for any new processes implemented or make amendments to current processes and deliver them from a training perspective to your team.
As Arcus continues to grow, it’ll be challenging juggling the workload, ever-changing priorities and managing stakeholder expectations, but with your structured, methodical and target driven approach it’ll be second nature. You’ll have the ability to manage the team from both a remote and office-based setting.
You’ll be dealing with various team requirements from shift rotas, holiday management to performance management. You’ll be your team's point of contact for any escalations, where you’ll investigate and resolve the issues arising ensuring stakeholders and your team are happy.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong people manager who doesn’t shy away from performance management. You’ll be confident, self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You’ll have exceptional communication skills using different styles to deliver clear messages at all levels. You’ll find it easy to adapt to change quickly and to the ever-changing priorities.
You’ll currently be working within a similar multi-site business as a Team Supervisor. You’ll have ample knowledge within team management and an understanding of commercial or estimation process is desirable. You’ll have excellent administration and IT skills and be proficient in Excel, and PowerPoint experience is desirable.
When you join us, you’ll receive:
- Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
- Up to 4% bonus scheme, subject to achievement of targets
- 25 days annual leave
