At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a Cleaning Area Mobile Support in Warren Heath on a permanent basis for 40 hours per week with a rate of £14.12 per hour with overtime opportunities. Arcus Cleaning Area Mobile Support take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers, working alongside Area Managers.
Responsibilities
- To allocate tasks and responsibilities to the team and take the necessary steps to ensure the specified service is delivered.
- In the event of absence or being short staffed, attend stores to support with all cleaning duties - this is a hands-on role.
- Ensuring all employees are well presented and ambassadors of the Arcus values & behaviours.
- Conducting investigation meetings / welfare meetings and other related HR issues - in line with company Policy and Procedures.
- To liaise daily with key clients and be proactive in resolving difficulties in order to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Attend meetings as required by the Area Operations Manager to assist in effective communications with both management and service users.
- Carry out regular meetings with direct reports to assist in effective two-way communication and to communicate the company's aims and objectives to colleagues.
- To ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Carry out appropriate induction of new colleagues maintaining close contact throughout their probationary period to ensure full support and the required standards and productivity are achieved.
- To ensure that the Arcus Health and Safety policy is operated at all times including Safe Systems of Work, COSHH Regulations, PPE compliance and any other related systems of work.
Arcus will support you through full training.
What will you need?
- Significant cleaning experience in a management role.
- An eye for detail and cleanliness.
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
- Experience of hands-on cleaning.
