At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a Cleaning Area Mobile Support in the East of England (Essex) on a permanent basis for 40 hours per week, at a rate of £14.12 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Arcus Cleaning Area Mobile Support takes pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers, working alongside Area Managers. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Allocating tasks and responsibilities to the team and ensuring the specified service is delivered
• Supporting stores with all cleaning duties during absences or staff shortages – this is a hands-on role.
• Ensuring all employees are well presented and embody the Arcus values & behaviours
• Conducting investigation meetings, welfare meetings, and other HR-related issues in line with company policies and procedures.
• Liaising daily with key clients and proactively resolving difficulties to maintain good working relationships
• Attending meetings as required by the Area Operations Manager to facilitate effective communication with management and service users
• Carrying out regular meetings with direct reports to promote effective two-way communication and communicate company aims and objectives
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Inducting new colleagues and providing support throughout their probationary period to meet standards and productivity goals
• Ensuring compliance with Arcus Health and Safety policies, including Safe Systems of Work, COSHH Regulations, PPE, and related systems

What will you need?

• Significant cleaning management experience
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Hands-on cleaning experience
