Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury's stores.
Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies.
- Cleaning outside areas such as trolley bays, keeping free of leaves and debris.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied.
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday: 06:00 - 09:00
- Monday: 05:00 - 08:00
- Tuesday: 05:00 - 08:00
- Wednesday: 05:00 - 08:00
- Thursday: Day Off
- Friday: 05:00 - 08:00
- Saturday: 05:00 - 08:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
Job Details:
At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury’s Sunderland North store on a permanent basis. The role is 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5- and 6-day working available.
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training will be supplied. A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service, an eye for detail and cleanliness are required.
