About the role
The role is a part time In‑Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury\’s Scarborough store on a permanent basis, working 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.
Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning machinery.
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to keep stores clean.
- Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and even oven canopies in store.
- Clean and maintain trolley bays outside, keeping them free of leaves and debris.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on‑the‑job training will be supplied. An eye for detail and a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service are welcomed.
Shift patterns
Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00
Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
Tuesday: Day off
Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00
Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00
Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
