Arcura Medical Properties is a European real estate platform focused on healthcare properties. We invest in, develop and manage properties that support the long-term delivery of healthcare services.
Our experienced European team combines strong real estate expertise with a clear focus on Healthcare Real Estate. We work entrepreneurially, pragmatically and with short decision-making processes across functions and countries.
The role
We are looking for a proactive, resourceful and hands on Executive Assistant & Business Support professional to join our London team.
This is a broad and varied role at the heart of our UK business. Working closely with our CEO, CFO and wider six-person UK team, you will help keep things organised, anticipate needs and take ownership of a wide range of business and organisational activities.
We are looking for someone who thinks ahead, exercises good judgement and takes initiative without waiting for detailed instructions. You enjoy making things happen, whether that means managing executive priorities, solving practical challenges or driving smaller projects forward.
While executive and business support will be at the core of the role, there is also plenty of opportunity to get involved in events, marketing, communications and internal projects over time.
We want this role to develop with you, building on your strengths and interests.
Your responsibilities
- Provide reliable and proactive support to our CEO and CFO, including diary management, meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, documents and ad-hoc business requirements.
- Support our wider UK team with day-to-day business and organisational activities, helping things run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate business travel, including itineraries, bookings and logistics.
- Prepare meetings, presentations and external appointments, including briefing materials, documentation and follow-up actions.
- Support colleagues with correspondence, document preparation, research and other business-related tasks.
- Take ownership of smaller projects and initiatives, coordinating activities and following through to completion.
- Help ensure the smooth running of our London office, including meeting rooms, visitors, supplies, post and coordination with external service providers.
- Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for colleagues, visitors, candidates and external partners.
- Organise and support team events, business dinners, meetings and other company activities, from planning through to execution.
- Support onboarding and other employee-related organisational activities in collaboration with People & Culture.
- Contribute to marketing and communications activities, including presentations, marketing materials, company updates and branded content. Help identify interesting stories and opportunities to showcase our team, business and portfolio.
- Step in where needed, spot opportunities to improve how things work and help move topics forward independently.
What you bring
- You have relevant experience in executive support, business support, office operations, project coordination or a similarly broad organisational role, ideally in a fast‑paced professional environment.
- You are proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership without needing detailed instructions.
- You think ahead, anticipate needs and have the judgement to prioritise effectively and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- You are quick to understand new topics, ask the right questions and find practical solutions independently.
- You are highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial investment environment.
- You enjoy variety and are equally happy handling practical day-to-day tasks and supporting more complex business activities.
- You communicate confidently and professionally with senior stakeholders, colleagues, service providers and external partners.
- You enjoy contributing ideas, improving processes and taking responsibility for projects from start to finish.
- You are curious about marketing, communications and events and would enjoy developing your skills in these areas. Previous professional marketing experience is not required.
- You are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
We are open to different professional backgrounds. What matters most to us is your attitude, initiative, sound judgement and ability to make things happen.
What you can expect from us
- A broad, varied role with real ownership and the opportunity to shape your responsibilities over time.
- Close collaboration with our CEO, CFO and wider UK team, with direct exposure to different areas of the business.
- The opportunity to develop beyond traditional executive support and get involved in marketing, communications, events and internal projects.
- An entrepreneurial working environment where ideas are welcomed and people are encouraged to challenge, improve and build.
- The opportunity to learn about our business, our portfolio and the healthcare real estate sector.
- Base salary of £50,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual performance bonus with a 9% target and up to 15% maximum, subject to the terms of the bonus scheme.
- Private Medical Insurance, Group Life Assurance and Group Income Protection.
- Enhanced pension scheme with a 6.5% employer contribution and 4% employee contribution.
- Office-first working model with some flexibility on Fridays.
We are committed to diversity and equal opportunities. We welcome applications regardless of age, sexual orientation, disability, gender, ethnic background or any other protected personal characteristic.
