The Firm:
Leading London law Firm (approx 40 Partners) who are renowned for their expertise in private client, family, and contentious trusts work. Consistently recognised in Chambers and The Legal 500 as one of the top boutique firms serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
The Finance Team:
Comprising a CFO, Head of Financial Operations, Head of Financial Reporting, Legal Systems Manager and Business Development Director.
The Revenue team comprising a Client Revenue Manager, a Billing and Revenue Controller, Credit Controller and a Revenue Assistant. And a cashiers team comprising a Head Cashier, a Senior Legal Cashier and a Finance Assistant.
The Role:
This role would be reporting to the Head Cashier and would suit an individual with good level Legal Accounts experience of minimum of two years.
Responsibilities include-
• Processing Client and Office receipts and payments
• Processing Client to Office transfers
• Processing and paying Counsel and Professional Fees
• Posting of Land Registry, Court fees, Companies House online portal invoices.
• Processing outward CHAPS and faster payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing Purchase Ledger invoices • Processing Employee Expenses and Credit Cards
• Dealing with client residual balances
The Individual:
• GCSE level education (including Maths and English Language).
• Knowledge of SRA rules and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good IT skills: - Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook (experience desirable but not essential).
• Good organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to liaise with people at all levels and to ask for help when needed.
• A team player. • Helpful and willing, with a "can-do" attitude.
• Ability to take on responsibility.
• Courteous and efficient.
• Professional and conscientious, taking a pride in doing the job well.
