About the Role: The Sales Engineer is the technical backbone of Arctic Wolf’s new business organisation, partnering with Account Executives to demonstrate the business value of our solutions and guide customers throughout the sales cycle. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will own the technical strategy for a dedicated Midlands territory, helping customers navigate complex cybersecurity challenges. You will combine technical expertise and a consultative approach to build trust, solve problems, and demonstrate how Arctic Wolf helps organisations reduce cyber risk. We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer based in the Midlands who is passionate about technology, enjoys working with customers, and wants to make a meaningful impact across the region.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Account Executives to drive new business opportunities and secure technical wins throughout the customer buying journey.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer requirements, business objectives, security challenges, and technical environments.
- Assess and document customer environments, including security tooling, network architecture, identity and authentication frameworks, cloud services, and operating systems.
- Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, technical workshops, and Proof of Value (POV) engagements that clearly articulate Arctic Wolf's business and technical value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to technical and executive stakeholders, helping organizations navigate complex cybersecurity challenges, make informed security decisions, and align Arctic Wolf solutions with desired business outcomes.
- Leverage your understanding of the cybersecurity landscape to effectively position Arctic Wolf and communicate key differentiators across security operations, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within reseller, channel, and MSP communities to support partner-led opportunities and regional growth.
- Drive territory success through customer events, webinars, channel enablement initiatives, field marketing activities, and industry engagement.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning through coaching, enablement, and best-practice sharing.
- Contribute to process improvements, training programs, content creation, and other cross-functional initiatives that support team success.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or cybersecurity pre-sales role.
- Proven success supporting complex cybersecurity sales cycles, driving technical wins, and helping secure new business.
- Strong technical expertise across networking, identity and access management, cloud services, private cloud environments, and Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and strategies, including Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Frameworks, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, XDR, EDR/EPP, IPS/IDS/NDR, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience delivering technical demonstrations, workshops, evaluations, and Proof of Value engagements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and business value effectively to audiences ranging from technical practitioners to executive decision-makers.
- Experience positioning solutions in competitive environments and differentiating technologies based on customer requirements.
- Experience working with channel partners, MSPs, and reseller ecosystems, including building and maintaining long-term partner relationships.
- Understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle from qualification through closure, including partner-led sales motions and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Knowledge of consultative sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC and Technical Win processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort representing Arctic Wolf in public forums, including customer events, webinars, partner enablement sessions, and industry conferences.
- Experience with modern business applications and collaboration tools such as Salesforce, Slack, and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of modern application deployment technologies, including containerized and cloud-based environments.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, AWS, Azure, VMware, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
- A demonstrated track record of success in high-performing pre-sales or sales engineering organizations.

This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure.
