Job Description
Arctic Services are searching for a motivated and qualified refrigeration maintenance engineer to join our team to carry out essential maintenance to refrigeration equipment. This position would suit a junior engineer who wants to learn from our senior engineers and become familiar with all types of refrigeration units. We will help you to develop as an engineer by training you on refrigeration systems of all sizes, we would like for you to grow in our company to a senior engineer.\\n\\nAbout the job\\n\\nIn this key role you will be servicing, maintaining and fault finding commercial refrigeration systems such as cold rooms and integral units, in line with our high standards and health and safety regulations.\\n\\nAs a representative of the company, you will be responsible for offering a comprehensive and efficient service to our customers.
A flexible and proactive approach are essential for this role.\\n\\n * Servicing refrigeration and AC equipment\\n\\n * Refrigeration experience preferred\\n\\n * Diagnosing/reporting faults on reactive works would be a bonus\\n\\n * Able to travel to our head office in Waltham Abbey, near M25\\n\\n * Good technical skills and knowledge of refrigeration systems within the commercial sector\\n\\n * Genuine interest in keeping our customers happy is of high importance\\n\\nQualifications / Experience\\n\\nF-Gas qualified.\\n\\nCity and Guilds certificates installing and maintaining refrigeration systems or equivalent.\\n\\nExperience in any or all of the following would be an advantage.\\n\\nInstallation, service or maintenance and fault finding on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration such as cold rooms, cellar cooling, ice machines, fridges and freezers.\\n\\nSchedule\\n\\n47.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break each day.\\n\\nStart and finish times are variable and agreed with the service manager weekly.\\n\\nWe offer a 24/7 emergency call out to our customers, if you are placed on call you will receive a standby rate.\\n\\nPermanent Position – Salary dependent on experience + Overtime + Standby Rate + Company Vehicle + Pension\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nWe offer a competitive salary, company car, private health and dental cover after 2 years of service, company mobile phone & PDA, company uniform, 20 days annual leave and earning an extra day per year after 2 years.\\n\\nAbout the Business\\n\\nOur head office is based in Waltham Abbey, a stone’s throw from the M25, making us easily accessible to London and the surrounding boroughs, but that does not limit us as we also cover clients nationwide.
