This Role Is Suitable For You If You Are:

  • Computer Science degree – essential for understanding and assessing fundamental CS concepts, algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking.
  • 3+ years of software development, technical consulting, or technical assessment experience.
  • Ability to quickly assess technical competence and distinguish real understanding from surface knowledge.
  • Strong radar for distinguishing between candidates who grasp underlying concepts versus those relying on memorisation or AI‐generated solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts and providing constructive feedback.

  • Permanent conversion potential: £50k‐70k (negotiable based on experience level)
