Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx We are looking for a Retail Performance Analyst on a fixed term contract until end of December 2026. The Retail Performance Analyst will provide critical analytical and reporting support to the retail leadership team, delivering actionable insights that enhance operational performance, strengthen commercial decision‑making, and enable more strategic leadership focus. This role is responsible for producing high‑quality, insight‑driven reporting, identifying performance opportunities and risks, and supporting store teams through data‑led analysis and clear, practical recommendations to drive continuous improvement. This role is based out of our London office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
Core activities you would be doing
- Reporting and Communication
- Develop executive‑level presentations and performance review decks for retail leadership meetings, ensuring clarity, impact, and strategic alignment.
- Leverage advanced Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities to enhance the quality, efficiency, and consistency of reporting, reducing leadership time spent on manual preparation.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that support informed and timely leadership decision‑making.
- Create visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate key trends, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
- Maintain high standards of consistency, accuracy, and quality across all retail reporting and presentation outputs.
- Ensure all reporting is delivered accurately and on time, enabling more effective engagement with store teams and fostering data‑driven performance discussions.
- Commercial Insight
- Support trading decisions through detailed Power BI performance analysis, identifying key risks and opportunities at both store and market level.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes through robust data analysis and insight generation.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on data and commercial insights to drive performance and inform decision‑making.
- Project Support
- Support ongoing retail projects and strategic initiatives through robust analysis and performance tracking, ensuring progress and impact are clearly measured.
- Provide analytical support for special projects and respond to ad‑hoc requests with timely, data‑driven insights.
- Collaboration
- Partner closely with Retail Leadership and Store Managers to understand key business challenges and opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Present findings in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, tailoring communication to different audience levels.
- Support trade review meetings with relevant, high‑quality analysis and reporting, using data storytelling to bring insights to life and enable impactful, data‑driven discussions and decision‑making.
