At Arc’teryx we believe there’s always a better way and that guides how we develop our teams, and our “Leave It Better” spirit shapes the way we work. Our Leads grow through hands‑on learning, steady coaching and opportunities across stores, regions and teams. For our Store in Battersea we are hiring a passionate Lead (all genders) to lead a talented team of 8 Product Guides alongside the Store Management team.

You bring energy and purpose to every part of the store—guest experience, product, people, and operations. Passionate about the outdoors, you live the lifestyle and share it authentically. You lead with care, push for bold goals, and celebrate progress. Together, we leave it better.

As an Arc’teryx Lead, here’s what you’d be doing:

  • Lead with Purpose: You embody the Arc'teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values—bringing leadership, awareness, and energy to every shift on the floor.
  • Elevate the Guest Experience: You support the team in delivering world‑class service by sharing product knowledge, coaching Product Guides, and leading from the floor five days a week.
  • Drive the Business Forward: You help oversee all five pillars of the store—experience, product, community, operations, and people—while managing inventory, visual merchandising, and daily operations.
  • Build Community & Connection: You share brand stories and event details with guests and teammates, making everyone feel welcome and inspired to join in.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: You keep the team aligned by sharing company updates, supporting store procedures, and partnering with leadership to meet goals.
  • Operate with Excellence: You manage transactions, open and close the store, and use tools to track sales, labour, and budgets—keeping everything running smoothly.

Life in Our Stores: You’ll be part of a team that enjoys spending time outdoors together, shares product knowledge, builds strong guest relationships, and takes pride in the details. The work is hands‑on, thoughtful and rooted in connection to the outdoors and community.

Are you our next Lead?

  • Leadership Experience: You bring 1+ years of leadership and retail experience, with a natural ability to coach, motivate, and unlock potential in others.
  • Guest-Centric Mindset: A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering brand loyalty through service, storytelling, and community engagement.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and team performance.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both the local language (e.g., German) and English is essential.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work key retail periods (e.g., Black Friday and holiday season) and ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Hours: Full‑Time | 5 days a week

Compensation: Salaried | Base + bonus

Growth at Arc’teryx: Growth happens through practice, feedback and the support of a wider community at Arc’teryx. As we open more stores across the region, new opportunities continue to emerge for teammates who want to build their skills and take on greater responsibility.
