Arconic is currently in search of Area Mechanical Engineer to join our Kitts Green based in Birmingham. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide professional engineering & maintenance support through the application of appropriate expertise, knowledge, and experience.
- Prepare design calculations in accordance with relevant standards and legislation, adopting standard formats and procedures.
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including final project valuations, preparing project briefs, and material management, as well as presenting to clients.
- Implement improvements related to reliability.
- Perform Root Cause Analyses (RCA) of issues.
- Support, mentor, and guide the area maintenance personnel.
- Plan and monitor activities during periods of planned downtime.
- Review Planned Maintenance activities/tasks to ensure their efficiency and validity.
