Arconic is currently in search of Area Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Team based in Kitts Green, Birmingham.

Arconic Kitts Green has an opportunity for an engaged, motivated, and charismatic engineer to join the team as an Area Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering and Maintenance team in the Foundry Area.

Job Summary:

  1. Provide professional engineering and maintenance support using appropriate expertise, knowledge, and experience.
  2. Prepare design calculations in accordance with relevant standards and legislation, adopting standard formats and procedures.
  3. Manage financial aspects of contracts, including final project valuations, project briefs, and material costs; present to clients as needed.
  4. Implement improvements to enhance reliability.
  5. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues.
  6. Support, mentor, and guide area maintenance personnel.
  7. Plan and monitor activities during planned downtime.
