Arcona are representing a Construction business who are seeking to recruit a highly organised Construction Administrator to join a growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in the construction industry who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support across multiple construction projects, ensuring project documentation, compliance records and reporting requirements are maintained to a high standard.
The role will also involve supporting project teams with BREEAM-related documentation and evidence collection throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to project and site teams.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, records, trackers and filing systems.
- Assist with the collection and submission of BREEAM evidence and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes and project correspondence.
- Manage project registers, trackers and compliance records.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date and distributed appropriately.
- Support mobilisation and handover processes as required.
- Assist with audits and document reviews.
- Candidate Requirements
- Previous construction industry experience is essential.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a Document Controller or Information Coordinator position would be highly advantageous.
- Experience managing document control systems and project information workflows.
- Knowledge of BREEAM requirements and sustainability documentation processes.
- Experience supporting construction, fit-out, fire protection, refurbishment or main contractor projects.
