Arcona are currently working with a leading Regional Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a flagship residential scheme in Central Bristol. This contractor is a recognised specialist in mixed‑use developments, partnership housing, Build to Rent, and residential regeneration. Their regional office, serving both Cardiff and Bristol, delivers over £100m of high‑quality projects annually and continues to expand its portfolio across the South West.

The Role

You will join the team on a £25m residential development, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Your remit will include full responsibility for a key section of the project, specifically:

  • Construction of 7 high‑specification townhouses
  • Delivery of a 20‑unit apartment building, from groundworks through RC frame (5 storeys), superstructure, fit‑out and final handover
  • Managing programme, quality, safety and cost control across your section
  • Leading and motivating subcontractor teams
  • Driving progress to ensure the project is delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards
