A well-known swim school in the local area is hiring! We are looking for a passionate and qualified Swim Teacher to join our friendly team in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to babies, pre-school children, and young swimmers in a warm and supportive environment.
Essential Qualifications
- STA Swim Teaching qualification (or equivalent)
- STA Baby & Pre-School qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid DBS check
Desired Qualities & Experience
- Bubbly, friendly, and passionate about teaching swimming
- Experienced in teaching children aged 0–4 years
- Comfortable singing welcome and goodbye songs, as well as the occasional nursery rhyme
- Happy working in a warm pool environment (33°C water temperature, with the air temperature slightly higher)
- Available to teach a 4-hour weekday shift
Teaching Hours Available
- Mondays: 9:30am – 1:30/2:00pm
- Wednesdays: 9:30am – 1:30/2:00pm
Additional opportunities may also be available:
- After-school lessons: 4:00pm – 6:00/7:00pm
Term Dates
The autumn term runs from the week commencing 7th September through to the week commencing 14th December. Half-term break: Closed during the week commencing 26th October.
Rate of Pay
Up to £25 per hour for the right candidate. Please note: This position is offered on a self-employed contract basis.
