About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our clients team. This role is key to ensuring the efficient handling, storage and distribution of building materials. Key Responsibilities Picking, packing and preparing orders accurately for delivery or customer collection
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting discrepancies
Storing products in the correct locations within the warehouse and yard
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Assisting customers with collections in a professional and helpful manner
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements Previous warehouse or yard experience, ideally within a builders merchant or similar environment
Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
