Our client is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales person to join their team at a leading builder's merchant. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong product knowledge and a proven track record in sales within the building materials industry.
You will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, developing new business and supporting the sales team to exceed branch targets while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Provide technical advice and support across a wide range of building materials.
- Work with the Branch Manager to implement sales initiatives and promotions to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure customers receive prompt, professional and knowledgeable service.
- Prepare accurate quotes, process sales orders and follow up on enquiries.
- Liaise with the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure stock availability aligns with customer needs.
- Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity and customer developments.
