Our client are a leading builders merchant providing building supplies to a mixture of trade and retail customers across the London region. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy and successful branch in North London.

The role will involve dealing with both reactive and proactive sales of building materials over the telephone, via emails and face to face when needed. You will be providing quotations both over the phone and via emails and following up on these quotations to win the order. Cross-basket selling and upselling will be needed whilst providing exceptional customer service to garner the best possible sale for the branch whilst ensuring that repeat business is attained. You will need to forge strong and long lasting working relationships with the customers and building your own ledger of customers for the branch.

The hours of the role are as follows:

  • Monday- Friday 7:30am-5pm
  • Alternative Saturday mornings 8am-12pm

Due to the nature of the industry, successful candidates will need to be experienced from within a Builders Merchant and will need to have knowledge of the local marketplace and customer base within the area.
