As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client’s customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the building supplies sector. Enhanced maternity and paternity pay External Sales – Builders Merchant – Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Work with the sales team to create and implement business development plans to meet revenue targets. Develop a deep understanding of our materials Collaborate with internal teams Network in order to build relationships Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and contracts External Sales – Builders Merchant – Key Requirements: Experience in the building supplies industry is essential. Proven track record in business development and sales. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of building materials A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required
