Our client are a well respected independent merchant providing lightside building supplies to a mixture of contractors, house builders, housing associations, and end users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join their successful business representing the Cornwall area.
It is not necessary to have sold lightside building materials before; however, experience in an external sales position selling to contractors and house builders is required to understand the route to market.
Responsibilities
- Operate in a field-based capacity supporting three branches.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and house builders to understand market needs and routes to market.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and company objectives within the Cornwall area.
Qualifications
- Experience in an external sales role selling to contractors and house builders is required.
