Are you an experienced Supervisor who thrives on leading a high performing team in a practical setting? Here at Arco Professional Safety Services, we are looking to recruit a Respiratory Equipment Supervisor to lead our small team of Equipment Inspectors / Technicians based on our customer site in the Plymouth area. The Respiratory Equipment Supervisor is a full-time position, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week, with the working hours being flexible between 07:00 start time and 18:00 finish time.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and leading a team of RPE Inspectors who are responsible for the servicing of on-site respiratory equipment at our customers facility.
  • Day to day people management of team performance, annual leave, sickness and absence.
  • Ensuring the quality of work delivered by the RPE Inspector team meets the required quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with Arco’s and site-specific operating procedures.
  • Carrying out agreed COSHH Inspections as per project scope for all of the RPE on site.
  • Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arco’s Asset tracking system.
  • Managing the stock of spare parts and equipment within the workshop to carry out monthly testing.
  • Additionally supporting the wider team within the Plymouth area.

Qualifications

  • An experienced Supervisor / People Manager who is able to develop a team to meet critical customer and contractual requirements.
  • Face to Face customer experience with excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong IT and data entry skills, particularly Asset Tracking Systems.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • Respiratory equipment and inspection knowledge is desirable, although training will be given.
  • UK Driving license.
  • Eligible to receive UK Security Clearance.
