About The Role
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you ensure the safety and well-being of employees by delivering maintenance and COSHH inspections on respiratory equipment? Arco, the UK\'s leading integrated health and safety experts, is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Equipment Inspector to join our team.
As a Health and Safety Equipment Inspector, you\'ll service and maintain PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirators), Full Face Respirators, and Half Mask Respirators on customer sites. Your responsibilities include carrying out COSHH Monthly Inspections, Manufacturers Annual Servicing, and repairs to various respiratory equipment. The role involves weekend working each week (Saturday and Sunday).
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out COSHH Monthly Inspections, Manufacturers Annual Servicing, and repairs to Powered Air Purifying Respirators, Full Face Masks and Half Masks
- Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arco Professional Safety Services Asset tracking system
- Managing stock of spare parts and equipment within workshop to carry out monthly testing
- Carrying out Tool Box talks on Respiratory Equipment
- Conducting Face Fit Testing
- Processing Job Cards

About You
The ideal Health and Safety Equipment Inspector will have:
- Manual handling experience
- Presentation experience
- Respiratory knowledge (training provided)
- Equipment inspection knowledge
- Face to face customer experience
- Basic IT skills and data entry
- Good telephone manner
- A UK Driving Licence is preferable
