Arco: Experts In Safety is seeking a talented and experienced National Account Manager to join our UK team. The role focuses on driving profitable business growth, delivering exceptional service, and maximizing revenue across a defined portfolio of high‐value corporate accounts.

As a National Account Manager you will own a portfolio of key corporate accounts, creating detailed account plans and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable revenue generation and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive account plan for each customer and coordinate input from all stakeholders to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Deliver a best‐in‐class service proposition for each customer, focusing on revenue‐generating activities.
  • Build strong customer relationships with multiple contacts within each account and expose them to the full Arco proposition.
  • Define and execute the sales strategy to achieve profitable growth and maximum return from each customer.
  • Utilize sales methodology to prospect and acquire new, defined business opportunities.
  • Pursue personal development to become an expert on strategic accounts and your sector.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record in national account management, sales, and profit generation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience dealing with complex corporate accounts.
  • Strong understanding of key account drivers and ability to demonstrate value‐added propositions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of market and competition.
  • Analytical capability to interpret sales and P&L data to inform strategy.
  • Excellent presentation skills for large audiences.
  • Track record of delivering results through matrix management.
  • Situational awareness to adapt sales methodology (e.g., Challenger Sales).
