About The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity, working within a unique retail environment for a market leading business? Arco have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Branch Sales Advisor to join the team, working from our store in Darwen. As a Branch Sales Advisor you will deliver high levels of customer service, and actively drive sales activity, improving customer loyalty and growing Arco’s profitability. This is a part time role working 20 hours per week - Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 12pm-5pm. Don’t worry if you don’t know much about the health and safety industry or personal protective equipment (PPE), as we’ll teach you all there is to know, and provide you with a platform to learn, develop and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high levels of customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Supporting with opening accounts, providing quotations and customer account management
- Driving sales through customer calling, leaflet distribution and other sales activity
- Managing cash in line with company policies and procedures including cashing up, processing refunds and supporting with the banking collection
- Following merchandising principles, including pricing, campaign set ups and ensuring product displays are well maintained
- Assisting with control of stock, including processing of deliveries, click and collect and actioning weekly stock counts
- Supporting Branch operations including stock preparation, stock management and restocking of customer sites (where required)
- Complying with and being an advocate for Health & Safety and Security at all times

About You
- Experience of working face to face with customers, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience of sales, either over the phone or face to face
- Strong IT skills; Microsoft Word, Excel etc. and the ability to learn new software
- Driving licence required
