The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Avonmouth, UK. Working days: Monday & Thursday 08:00-17:00, Saturday 09:00-12:00, total 19 hours per week. Requires a full UK driving licence.

About The Role

Deliver high levels of customer service, actively drive sales activity, improve customer loyalty and grow Arco’s profitability in a unique retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high levels of customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Open accounts, provide quotations, and manage customer accounts
  • Drive sales through customer calling, leaflet distribution and other sales activities
  • Manage cash in line with company policies and procedures, including cashing up, processing refunds and supporting banking collection
  • Follow merchandising principles, including pricing, campaign set‑ups and ensuring product displays are well maintained
  • Assist with stock control, including processing deliveries, click and collect and actioning weekly stock counts
  • Support branch operations including stock preparation, stock management and restocking of customer sites as required
  • Comply with and advocate for Health & Safety and Security at all times

About You

  • Experience face‑to‑face with customers, preferably in a retail environment
  • Experience of sales, either over the phone or face‑to‑face
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.) and ability to learn new software
  • Driving licence is essential for this role
