What You\’ll Do
- Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with autism, ADHD, and communication delays.
- Create and support engaging, differentiated lessons that raise attainment and build confidence.
- Use proven behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Track progress, give feedback, and help pupils reach their potential.
- Promote inclusion and lead participation in sports, learning, and extracurricular activities.
- Support colleagues, supervise classes when needed, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Essential:
- Proven teaching or learning support experience with excellent results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in behaviour management and fostering positive relationships.
- Confident using ICT (Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets).
- Organised, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil well-being.
Desirable:
- Degree-level education.
- First Aid certificate.
- Knowledge of safeguarding (KCSIE), GDPR compliance, and school information systems (e.g., Bromcom).
- Current enhanced DBS (must be in place before starting).
