Are you a compassionate and dedicated Practice Nurse looking to join a supportive, patient-focused team? If you are, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly, well-established GP Practice in Woodley, Stockport. This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week over 4 days, to include an extended access clinic until 8pm on a Tuesday.
Main duties of the job:
- Deliver high quality Primary Care nursing including chronic disease management, travel and child immunisations, cervical cytology, sexual health and contraception.
About us:
Archwood Medical Practice is a busy practice with a patient population of just under 8000 patients. Our team includes 4 Salaried GPs (3 GP Partners), 1 Advanced Practitioner, 1 Pharmacist, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 Healthcare Assistants and a range of associated health professionals working with us as part of our Primary Care Network. We are located in Woodley Health Centre, a modern purpose-built building with excellent facilities for patients and staff including on-site parking. The health centre houses both primary care and community services (including District Nurses and Health Visitors) conducive to regular contact with our community colleagues.
EMIS WEB clinical system, Docman and electronic prescribing practice. CQC rated Good. Infection control rating Outstanding. We have a strong team culture and will provide protected time for clinical meetings and chronic disease management. Accredited training practice. We welcome any special interests which would enhance our patient care within the practice.
