We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Administration Assistant, based at The Long Eaton School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join this supportive School and work within a team committed to improving attendance levels for students within the school.

Applicants will have a passion for education and an inclusive approach for all students.

We are looking forward to welcoming a new member of staff who can help fulfil our vision for supporting students in achieving and maintaining high attendance levels.

The post holder will process lesson registers, recording student absences from telephone and email notifications contacting parents and carers where necessary.

They will support the Attendance Improvement Manager and the Community Attendance Officer in collating attendance reports, providing data for analysis and supporting with arranging student welfare visits.

The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the post holder will be professional and able to communicate with a range of stakeholders.

This is a fast paced, varied role where the post holder will build positive relationships with families and external agencies.

They will work with a number of teams across the school, including safeguarding, SEND and student support to raise attendance for all students.

The successful candidate will be committed to the students and academy life and will possess the ability to communicate effectively and be able to raise the standards of learning for all of the students with whom they are required to work.
