We’re delighted to share an exciting opportunity at Archus for a Director of Business Development. This role is based in the UK, flexible location with a global remit.

As we enter the next chapter of our ambitious growth strategy, we’re seeking a bold and visionary leader to join our senior management team. In this pivotal role, you will help shape our strategic direction, strengthen our market presence, and drive our brand into new areas across the public sector.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable international experience in business development, marketing and bid leadership with evidence of a track record of work‑winning in competitive tenders.
  • Experience in managing, supporting and developing people, fostering a positive, inclusive and high‑performance culture.
  • Evidenced based network from within the public healthcare sector to drive growth, work winning and market share.
  • Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., infrastructure, built environment, central/local government) and frameworks tendering under the Procurement Act 2023 regime.
  • Evidence of cross‑functional leadership (BD, marketing and sales) and exceeding growth targets.
  • Advanced negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder‑management skills.

About Archus: We are a healthcare consultancy providing strategic advice directly to government, health care providers and hospital groups. Founded in 2017, we have worked on over 1000 projects to date, supporting healthcare clients in the delivery of multi‑million‑pound healthcare projects across the UK, Canada and other locations internationally. The team is led by a highly experienced and capable senior leadership team who have worked together for many years.

We have experienced significant growth since inception with five offices in the UK, one in Ireland and one in Toronto, Canada. We’re successfully targeting international growth via new territories while creating additional service offerings to meet the needs of the market and capitalise on global increases in healthcare spend. We position ourselves uniquely as one of the few firms of consultants to provide end‑to‑end advice on healthcare projects, from initial strategy development through to on‑site delivery.

This includes our Archus Insights team that provide a data analytics service to our UK and worldwide client base. A unique value proposition cited as the ability to support clients from “Boardroom to Boots”.

Benefits and Salary: This role will have a salary commensurate with the level of experience and knowledge of the applicant. In addition, you will have access to the following:
