We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Strategic Advisory team as a Senior Consultant, based from our Bristol office. You’ll report into the Head of Strategic Advisory and be at the heart of projects that shape the future of healthcare, working alongside talented colleagues to deliver high impact consultancy for our clients.

This is a hybrid role - while you’ll attend our Bristol office at least twice a week, you’ll also have the flexibility to work from home and visit client sites when needed.

To Thrive In This Role You’ll Bring:

  • Strong experience in healthcare strategic consultancy, with the ability to manage and deliver complex strategic and health planning projects from inception through to completion.
  • A confident, structured approach to project delivery, including developing project plans, managing competing priorities, and taking ownership of defined workstreams within larger programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to advise clients early in the project lifecycle and support consultation processes across diverse healthcare stakeholders.
  • Robust analytical capability, including undertaking research, benchmarking, capacity and activity analysis, and translating complex evidence into clear recommendations.
  • Proven experience drafting high‑quality outputs, such as strategies, business cases, feasibility studies and investment appraisals, tailored to healthcare and NHS contexts.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams across Archus and partner organisations to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Commercial awareness and a contribution to business growth, through fee‑earning delivery, supporting bids and tenders, developing case studies, and sharing market intelligence.
  • A commitment to developing your specialist expertise, bringing insight into emerging models of care, system transformation and capital development, and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Line management or mentoring experience, supporting the development and performance of consultants within the Strategic Advisory team.

Founded in 2017, we have worked on over 1000 projects to date, supporting healthcare clients in the delivery of multi‑million‑pound healthcare projects across the UK, Canada and other locations internationally.
