The Role and Purpose

We are looking to strengthen our Programme and Project Management (PPM) capability with the hire of an Assistant Project Manager based in the Midlands.

Role

We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, energy and a proactive mindset to the role. In particular, we’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Strong project management foundations, with an understanding of project management principles within a construction or built environment setting.
  • Technical confidence, including the ability to support project documentation, track programmes and key milestones, review dates and monitor progress.
  • Good digital capability, with confident use of Microsoft applications to produce clear, accurate and high-quality work.
  • Relevant sector awareness, including an interest in capital projects, pre‑construction and construction stages; familiarity with JCT or NEC forms of contract would be beneficial.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation, with the ability to balance work across more than one project and respond flexibly to changing requirements.
  • A collaborative and client‑focused approach, with confidence working with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Values‑led behaviours, demonstrating inclusivity, honesty, accountability, fresh thinking and a genuine commitment to learning and developing your expertise.
