What You'll Do:
- Project Coordination and Client Communication: Assist in gathering project information and supporting client communication efforts under the guidance of the Project Manager or Senior Designer.
- Design Concept Development: Support the development of design concepts by contributing to photographic image studies and graphic representations of ideas. Participate in design charrettes and assist in the execution of design details.
- Project Involvement: Participate in project activities from programming through to completion, supporting senior team members in various tasks.
- Presentation and Design Drawings: Assist in preparing presentation materials and design drawings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Creative Development and Training: Being groomed to be the Creative Head. Learn to develop block plans and bubble diagrams and assist in drafting design details and revising drawings as needed.
- Team Coordination and Integration: Support the design team by assisting with the integration of design elements and ensuring design documents are in appropriate formats.
- Quality Control: Help with quality control by ensuring that design documents and tasks meet company standards and accuracy.
- Project Management Support: Assist with project management tasks, such as preparing progress reports and tracking project updates.
- Construction Oversight: Support construction oversight by addressing design-related questions and ensuring design alignment with the project.
- Technical Specifications and Material Selection: Assist in gathering technical specifications and selecting materials for the project.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and design presentations under the supervision of senior staff.
- Finish Board Construction: Help with the creation of finish boards to present material options.
- Development of Design Standards: Assist in following and implementing in-house design standards and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in luxury interior design.
