LB Design Recruitment are working with a well-established architectural practice that works across a good variety of sectors to recruit an Architectural Technologist / Technician or a Technical Architect. This growing practice is currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist / Technician to join their team in Chichester. The practice has a particular expertise in the Education sector therefore experience in this sector is desirable but not essential.
Skills and experience required:
- An Architectural Technology degree or equivalent (CIAT chartership is a benefit, but not a requirement).
- 1 - 5 years post-qualification experience working in a UK based practice.
- Working knowledge of the UK Building Regulations is essential.
- Awareness of other sector standards and guidance.
- Full competency in Revit and detailing is essential.
- Knowledge of NBS (either CAWS or NBS Chorus) as this practice uses NBS specifications to live link into details and models in Revit.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team to provide information and support throughout RIBA work stages 3-4.
- Experience in liaising directly with contractor teams to resolve day to day queries.
- Experience in attending internal and on site meetings to discuss works with contractor and design teams throughout the build stages.
