LB Design Recruitment is working with an architectural consultancy based in North Hampshire. The practice delivers a diverse range of residential projects, from local house extensions to multi-million-pound developments. Due to an expanding workload, this small and friendly but very busy team is now looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join them on a permanent basis (contract considered).
About the Role
The successful candidate will assist with the production of technical and working drawings for a wide variety of private residential projects. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities throughout various stages of the design and construction process.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong self-motivation, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce high-quality working drawings
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning legislation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office
This is a permanent position (with a 3 month probation) – contractors also considered. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. The role is office-based, conveniently located just over a mile from a mainline train station (approx. 15-minute bus ride).
