A medium sized practice based near Liverpool Street is seeking a Technical Project Architect to join their team. The practice has recently won several large scale multi unit high rise housing projects in the UK. They need someone with strong technical and construction knowledge to lead the delivery of these projects, while leading a team and being the point of contact for surveyors, engineers and contractors. This role suits someone who enjoys leading on detail, coordinating complex consultant inputs, and guiding a project safely and efficiently through the later design and construction stages. You will have the chance to shape key decisions, mentor younger team members, and become a technical leader for the studio. Do note this role is based in the office every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of a large residential project through RIBA Stages 4 to 6
- Own coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Review Revit models and ensure technical accuracy and compliance
- Oversee packages, specifications, site queries, and construction information
- Champion quality, risk mitigation, and practical decision making
- Support and guide junior staff in developing technical capability
Skills and Experience
- Proven delivery experience on large scale multi unit housing projects in the UK
- Strong Revit capability and confidence working in BIM environments
- Excellent technical knowledge across building regulations and construction processes
- Comfortable leading meetings, resolving complex technical issues, and managing deadlines
- Calm, clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
